Maple Trail Ministry Consultants were working hard in Campbellsville, KY, on Tuesday, January 12.
Church administration and finance consultant Phillip Brunner spent the day working with Living Grace Church. The consultation was designed to look at all things financial in the life of their church. From financial security, to checks & balances, to teaching stewardship, to managing debt reduction and ministry expenses. Brunner worked with the church staff and key leaders to look different at their church budget and ways to communicate financial matters to their congregation.
Less than a mile away, literally right down the street, Dr. Shane Garrison was working with Campbellsville Baptist Church. Garrison has been involved in a 3-month consulting process evaluating and visioning the preschool and gradeschool children’s ministry at CBC. On Tuesday, he presented his final report to the church council for consideration. The findings will be unveiled to the church staff next week and to the whole church later in the month.
“It is rare for us to be consulting in two different churches, on the same day, in the same city,” Garrison said later. “It is an honor to serve two great Bible-believing, Christ-centered churches in central KY.”
