Campbellsville BC Children’s Ministry

After nearly 4 months of observation, analysis, surveys, interviews, and reports, Maple Trail has officially concluded consulting with Campbellsville Baptist Church children’s ministry.

The consultation began in November 2009 and lasted until February 2010.  Discipleship pastor Brad Lauer and interim children’s pastor Marsha Warren were the lead staff members working alongside Maple Trail.  Lauer wanted to take a hard look at the churches’ current children’s ministry strategy and find its greatest strengths and areas for improvement.

The end result of the consultation has been three-fold.  First, a children’s ministry lead team has been formed to support the children’s pastor and her work.  Second, a plan has been designed to strength all security, check in and check out procedures to ensure safety for the children and families.  Finally, the lead team has been commissioned to help Christian parents take on their primary role as spiritual disciplership of their children.
